Black flag showed at Rahul Gandhi function

Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi's programme in Ambedkar Nagar to flag off ten 'chetna yatras' faced minor hiccups with a lone detractor showing black flag against price rise.

Before the Congress general secretary could start his address after flagging off the yatras by handing over party flag to the respective leaders of the yatras, a lone detractor showed black flag at the venue to register his protest on spiralling prices.

It was again after the end of his speech that a voice of opposition to the Sachchar committee recommendations was expressed by an Akhil Bhartiya Hindu Mahasabha activist who was distributing pamphlets and raising slogans.

Congress workers, however, were quick to control the detractors on both the occasions to silence the opposition to their leader.
