Belgian companies ink pact with Indian companies in technology, aerospace

Four high profile agreements were signed today between Belgian and Indian companies in the sectors of technology and aerospace here.
   
These agreements were signed during the visit of a 340-strong economic mission to India, presided over by Prince Philippe and led by deputy prime minister and minister of foreign affairs and Foreign Trade of the Kingdom of Belgium  Steven Vanackere, a release said.

Prince Philippe is in India from March 22-27, on an official visit at the invitation of vice-president Hamid Ansari.

"The Indo-Belgian signing ceremonies hold special significance in the light of the rapid economic development in India. It clearly indicates the interest and commitment of Belgian companies to work in partnership with its Indian counterparts across diverse sectors to further collaboration, learning and growth”, said the deputy prime minister.
  
The agreements signed today at Bangalore are: MoU between BTR Services, Vasco Data Security, KBC ITC and Oracle
Financial Services Ltd. MoU between FLAG, SKYWIN and SIATI to
further work together in India. Agreement between SABCA and
QuEST’s to consolidate their long term relationship. Strategic
Partnership between Kavveri Telecom Products Ltd. and Orban
Microwave Products

BTR Services, Vasco Data Security, KBC ITC today signed an MoU with Oracle financial Services to launch a software as a service (SAAS) platform offering Banking Back-Office Services.
