A hot and humid Sunday for Delhiites

After a brief spell of pleasant weather, Delhiites today had a hot and humid Sunday with the maximum temperature rising above 36 deg Celsius, three degrees above normal for this time of the season.

Delhi recorded a maximum of 36.6 degrees C and a minimum of 28.6 deg C, the meteorological office said.

High humidity levels oscillating between 81 and 54% made matters worse for the residents.
