2G case: Kanimozhi to reach Chennai on December 3

DMK Member of Parliament and party chief M Karunanidhi's daughter, Kanimozhi, who has been given bail in the 2G spectrum case, will reach Chennai on Saturday.

Kanimozhi, a Rajya Sabha MP, would arrive by a private airliner at 12 noon on December 3, DMK spokesman TKS Elangovan said today.

Karunanidhi had said after Kanimozhi was granted bail by the Delhi High Court that the party would organise a big welcome for her when she arrived in Chennai. Kanimozhi spent 193 days in Tihar jail following her arrest in connection to the scam on May 20.
