Vijay Singh Chauhan, a CEO of a Noida-based company, was arrested when he was going through security check at the IGI Airport to catch a flight for Bhopal on Saturday, official sources said.

Two persons, including a chief executive officer of a private firm, were arrested at the IGI airport in Delhifor carrying firearms and live cartridges in their hand baggage in separate incidents.
Vijay Singh Chauhan, a CEO of a Noida-based company, was arrested when he was going through security check at the IGI Airport to catch a flight for Bhopal on Saturday, official sources said.
During the check, a revolver and four live cartridges were recovered from his bag by CISF personnel.
"Though Chauhan produced a license for the revolver but it was expired. He was later handed over to the police and we have registered a case under provisions of Arms Act," said DCP (IGI) RA Sanjeev.
In the second incident on the same day, a man was arrested after a Mauser pistol and 10 live cartridges were recovered from his bag.
Rajiv Kumar Srivastava was about to board a flight to Lucknow when security personnel found a pistol and ammunition in his bag.
"He was later arrested, " said a police official.
This is the third such incident in a month, after a senior official of a US firm was arrested for carrying live cartridges and a gun at the IGI airport.
