An Ayurvedic doctor's 19-year-old son, who had been traceless with his Santro car from Mangolpuri area in outer Delhi since Monday, was found murdered in a bordering area in Haryana today, police said.

The body of Rajeev Rai was found along with this Santro car from bordering Karnal district after someone spotted the abandoned car and informed the local police, a senior police officer said.

The boy had multiple stab injuries on his body and his hands and legs were tied with rope, he said.

Rai, a resident of Mangolpuri and son of Dr Shreemali, went traceless along with his car after he left his father's clinic on Monday evening. He was a class 12th student of St Xavier's school in Rohini, police said.

A missing case was registered in this connection after his father informed the local police on Tuesday.

Shreemali, who is an Ayurvedic doctor, runs his clinic in the same locality where he has his residence.

Preliminary investigations revealed that before he went traceless with his car, Rai had gone to play video game at an outlet near by after coming out of father's clinic on Monday evening, the officer said.

"It was not a case of kidnapping for ransom as the family members have not yet claimed to have received any ransom call. Prima facie, it appears to be a case of revenge killing," he said adding that investigations were on.
