BJP leader Kiran Bedi today stuck to her stand saying she had not "lost" the Assembly elections considering her efforts despite the circumstances and the "number of days" given to her.

Her remarks come at a time when a section of the state BJP leaders are saying that bringing in the former IPS officer just three weeks before the elections was a "bad move".

"That was my natural reaction. I think I did not lose. Given the circumstances, resources, capacity I gave it all. So why will I say that I lost," she said during the release of a book "Swachh Bharat Checklist" that she has co-authored with Pavan Choudary.

Speaking on the book's subject, she said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's message for a clean India has not percolated down.

"The government has launched the Swachh Bharat Mission but the message has not percolated down. It is an administrative task now as the political leadership has done their bit. Prime Minister has done his bit," she said.

Bedi also launched Choudary's "How a Good Person Can Really Win" during the event at the World Book Fair at Pragati Maidan here.
