The Madhyamik examination is conducted annually and simultaneously all over the state of West Bengal and also in affiliates of the board located outside West Bengal, elsewhere in India.

Class 10 results of West Bengal Board of Secondary exam will be announced on May 22 at 10 am.
Over 5 lakh students appeared in the exam conducted in March. Last year, over 80% students had cleared the exam. This year, the expected percentage of students passing the exam is 84%.
Students can check their results on board's official website http://wbresults.nic.in/.
In order to get the reults, students need to provide their seat numbers printed on their hall tickets. These results to be used for reference purpose only. They do not hold nay credibility. Students are advised to get original mark sheets, provided by the board, from their respective schools.
The Board of Secondary Education was established in 1951 under West Bengal Secondary Education Act of 1950. The Board of Secondary Education was renamed as West Bengal Board of Secondary Education in 1964. The west Bengal Board organises and conducts the secondary/ Madhyamik and Higher Secondary examination yearly.
