Watch: Leopard enters Bengaluru school, injures four

A young leopard entered an elite school in Bengaluru creating a havoc. It was tranquillised after a 14-hour long operation, in the process of which it injured at least 4 people.

The leopard entered the compound of Vibgyor School at Kundalahalli near Whitefield early Sunday morning around 4 am. The school security soon alerted the officials of the Forest department, who along with the police brought the big cat under control after a really long time.

The operation finally wrapped up around 6 pm. The final moments were dramatic, according to media reports, when the leopard which was cornered inside a room suddenly came out and darted towards the pool. In the process, it managed to injure some individuals before it was shot tranquilliser.

Fortunately, the day being a Sunday, no student was present and hence major damage was averted.
