Watch: Displaced by flood, Kaziranga rhinoceros wanders on to Assam highway

The recent floods in Assam has left the civilian population reeling under massive devastation. It has claimed 26 lives so far and has affected nearly 37 million people.

The wildlife in Kaziranga National Park, home to the endangered Indian rhinoceros, was also affected. According to KNP authorities, the death toll of rhinos rose to 20 while many others were displaced from their natural habitat.

One of the rhinos was also spotted at a stretch of the highway in Assam's Golaghata region.

Understandably unsettled by the sight of people, the rhinoceros charged at traffic and people as well.
