Virendra Bind, the student arrested on Sunday was of the 2014 batch, official sources here said.

The Madhya Pradesh SIT picked up a student from the King George's Medical College here in connection with the Vyapam scam on Monday. The MP SIT has organized a number of raids in Lucknow and some other places in UP in the past, too, and nine students of this prestigious college have already been arrested for acting as "solvers" for a fee of about Rs 5 lakh per examinee.
Virendra Bind, the student arrested on Sunday was of the 2014 batch, official sources here said.
The UP connection of the Vyapam scam had hit the headlines here a couple of months ago when Shailesh Yadav, son of MP Governor Ram Naresh Yadav and an accused in this recruitment racket, had died under mysterious circumstances here. His family said he had committed suicide.
