CM exhorts workers to support one of their own, who have been handed tickets to contest polls.

While kick-starting party’s election campaign in the state capital on Saturday, chief minister Vasundhara Raje tried to silence all the voices of resentment against the allotment of party tickets in state. She also showed the party workers who’s is the boss when it comes to the party affairs in state unit of the BJP.

She was speaking while inaugurating the election office of BJP’s candidate from Jaipur City, Ram Chandra Bohra. Raje said that there were many leaders in the race for the party ticket but she preferred a party worker over them. She even advised the partymen to first become worker rather than running after the posts or positions.

“This time I have given ticket to a party worker, despite several leaders being in race. When I first gave him the post in the organisation, he would always remain very quiet. Now I have given him a new responsibility with the party ticket,” said Raje. We are all her to complete Mission 25 and make Narendra Modi prime minister.

Giving example of the Gujarat chief minister she said, “Initially Modi was an ordinary party workers and served the party for years. He rose from grassroots level and today is party’s prime ministerial candidate.”

Warning the party leaders and workers she said that BJP is working with a mission and certain decisions are taken in broader perspective which may not be in favour of an individual.

Rejecting the post ticket distribution resentment among several communities she said that she is the CM who belongs to entire state and not just to Jats, Rajputs, Brahmins or any other caste. She warned that in a bid to take Rajasthan on the part of development she may take several tough decisions and she would not like to see her party leaders and workers sitting on Dharna against the party.
