UAE has started inquiry into properties of wanted criminal Dawood Ibrahim in Dubai, reports a TV channel. 

The country had started the procedure of sealing the properties of Dawood in the city a week ago.

A list that includes at least 50 properties that belong to him is being looked at by the UAE officials. The list was provided by India's NSA Ajit Doval.

PM Modi had visited the the gulf nation in August. One of the key issues discussed was co-operation on counter-terrorism activities.
