Three killed as tractor-trolley overturns

Three persons were today killed and six others injured when a tractor-trolley carrying devotees to Kannauj for taking a dip in River Ganga overturned, police said.

The incident took place this morning in Zafarpur locality in Bilgram area here when the tractor-trolley was going from Sitapur to Kannauj, they said.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Vipin Mishra said those killed have been identified as Om Prakash (35), Nirmal (17) and Sunita (45).

The injured have been rushed to a hospital, where their condition is stable.
