Thanksgiving! PV Sindhu visits Mahankali temple in Hyderabad

Silver girl PV Sindhu visited Simhavahini Mahankali temple in Hyderabad on Saturday with her parents. According to reports, both Sindhu and her parents are regular visitors to the Mahankali temple.

PV Sindhu stunned many of her higher rank opponents to win a silver medal for India at the recently concluded Rio Olympics. The accolades and the applause haven't stopped coming since she returned to India. Sindhu has been felicitated by both the Telangana and the Andhra Pradesh governments. She has also been promised cash prices by other organisations.

On Sunday, Sindhu and the other medal winner Sakshi Malik, along with Dipa Karmakar, were presented BMWs by none other than master-blaster Sachin Tendulkar.

But amidst her busy schedule, Sindhu hasn't forgotten her promise. The shuttler was quoted as saying, "I had pledged that if I win a medal at Olympics, I will come again (to Mahankali temple). I have come here to fullfill the pledge." Clearly, Sindhu, like the Lannisters, always pays her debts!
