RJD Chief Lalu Prasad’s elder son Tej Pratap Yadav is set to tie the knot next month. Tej Pratap Yadav, the elder son of former Bihar chief ministers Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi, is all set to exchange rings with Aishwarya Rai, the granddaughter of ex-Bihar CM Daroga Rai and daughter of senior RJD leader and MLA Chandrika Rai later this month. The engagement ceremony is set to take place on April 18 at a city hotel, and the wedding is likely next month.
The topic of the wedding of Lalu's sons — Tej Partap and younger brother Tejashwi — was in the news after their mother Rabri Devi had controversially remarked that she did not want a "mall-going" daughter-in-law for her sons. Earlier, a WhatsApp number released by then deputy CM Tejashwi, to receive road-related complaints, had instead been flooded with marriage proposals.

1: Aishwarya Rai did her schooling from Bihar and stayed in Delhi for her higher education. Her father is Chandrika Rai, an ex-minister in Bihar government. So far, he has not confirmed the news.
2: The media reports suggest that the engagement ceremony of Tej Pratap and Aishwarya Rai will be held on April 18 at Maurya Hotel in Patna.
3: The big wedding will take place on May 12. The soon-to-be wife of Tej Partap is also known as Jhipsi in her family circle. The story goes that it was raining on the day she was born.
