Journalist and founder of the Muslim Canadian Congress Tarek Fatah on November 6 shared a picture on Twitter of a man teaching a group of students in a Madarsa, with the tweet, "No, the Mullah is not playing 'knots and crosses.' He is teaching Muslim girls in an Indian Islamic school the comparitive supiority of Islam over Hinduism.

The story, which was first highlighted by Fake News busting website, AltNews, shows the teacher in front of a blackboard grading Hinduism and Islam and giving Islam a 3-0 score over Hinduism.

However, the report added that the picture is originally of the same man writing Sanskrit on a blackboard. As ANI shared the image on its Twitter back then, it wrote, "Sanskrit, among other subjects, being taught at Darul Uloom Husainia madrasa. Principal of the madrasa says 'It's a modern madrasa under UP Education board & subjects like English, Hindi, Science, Maths & Sanskrit are taught here. They are also taught Arabic'."

Tarek's views have been cosnidered by any has un-Islamic, with some sections of soeiety even arguing that his speeches are to irk Muslims.

Last year, terrorists wanted to target Fateh, a Canadian national, SSP of Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) Umesh Kumar Srivastava said.

He was the target as he is seen as opposing the Shariat law and advocates liberal and progressive form of Islam, Srivastava said.
