SSC to conduct CGL Tier-I re-examination on August 30

The Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2015 (CGL) Tier-I examination, will be conducted on August 30, by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The exam was originally scheduled to take place on August 9.

The rescheduling of the exam took place as printing errors were noticed in a few set of question paper booklets. At least 2,030 candidates will be re-appearing for the exam. 

The SSC released a statement saying,“It has come to the notice of the Commission that a particular series of question paper booklets distributed in the Northern Region (in cities other than Delhi) had some printing errors. The Commission had decided to call such candidates for a re-examination on 30th August, 2015 in Forenoon Session, who had actually appeared and had such errors in the Question booklets provided to them.”

The SSC also notified candidates the re-examination will only be held at the centres in Delhi and Jaipur and to carry their admit cards.

"Candidates who do not appear for the re-examination, will have his/her OMR sheets of the examination held on August 09 will be evaluated,” it stated in the release.
