Son of former BSP MP sent to judicial remand in rape case

A local court here has sent the son of a former BSP RPT BSP MP and three others to jail in connection with the gangrape case of a minor in 2014.

A case was registered against Anand Pandey, son of former BSP MP Gorakhnath Pandey and three others in connection with the gangrape of a minor in a school in Koirana Police station area in 2014, prosecution sources said.

Pandey is now in the BJP.

The four accused were on bail and hearing of the case was going on in the court of additional district and sessions judge Chandrashekhar Prasad where all the four had appeared yesterday.

The court took strong note of the four not cooperating in the hearing and sent them to judicial remand till further orders, they added.
