Sheena told me she was Indrani's daughter in 2011: Peter Mukerjea

Speaking to a leading news channel, Peter Mukerjea said that Sheena had told him that she was Indrani's daughter and not her sister. He claims that he had confronted Indrani about the matter who denied it. In the end he chose to believe his wife. 

He also claimed that Indrani had come down to Mumbai in 2012 to separate Rahul and Sheena. He also said that he was sure that there was no financial transaction between the two. He also talked about his son Rahul who he said was in a relationship. (Read: Indrani-Sheena Case: All you need to know)

The Story Till Now

The police picked up Indrani Mukerjea after arresting her driver. Her son Mikhail, who people believed earlier to be her sibling along with Sheena, said that the cause of the death was a property dispute. Others claim, that the reason why Indrani killed Sheena was because of her relationship with Rahul, who is Peter's son.

Officials, requesting anonymity, said that Rahul and Sheena, 24, had been seeing each other for over a year which Indrani did not like. A web of lies and intriguing relationships have emerged in the case as it came to light that Sheena was Indrani's daughter and not sister as Indrani has been claiming for years. The motive of the murder still remains a mystery though Indrani's son Mikhail claimed he knows the real reason but will not disclose it.
