Sheena Bora's grandmother passes away in Guwahati

Durga Rani Bora, the grandmother of murdered Sheena Bora passed away in Guwahati on Thursday evening. She is survived by Upen Bora, and grandson Mikhail Bora. Durga Rani's health had been deteriorating ever since she fell in the bathroom in September last year. In her last few days, she had developed bed sores. She was cremated by Mikhail in the presence of family and friends. She was over 80 years old. (Read: Who all are involved in the case?)

On the other hand, the CBI had registered a case against Indrani Mukherjee, Sanjay Khanna and the driver on September 29 for devising a criminal to conspiracy to murder Sheena. Till she died, Durga Rani did not have any idea about the murder. Upen Bora, too, is in the dark about the sordid details of the murder.
