The Delhi police on Tuesday arrested seven people in connection with the ransacking of Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Manoj Tiwari's house.

Tiwari's house in the national capital's high security Lutyens' zone was on Monday ransacked and his staff beaten up in the wee hours, following an argument between one of his his staff members and another person.

The incident occurred as an outcome of road rage involving his car and another car outside his residence. Tiwari was neither present in the car nor in his North Avenue residence.

Two men were seen beating up Tiwari's staff Ashok in the CCTV footage and later entering his house armed with rods and sticks.

Tiwari had alleged that there was a big conspiracy behind the attack, that too with police involvement.

"Looks like the accused had pressured the police officer who had come to the location. If it was a simple road rage incident then how did so many persons suddenly come near my house and manage to enter it. One of them even had a sword with him," added Tiwari.

Earlier, the Delhi Police had arrested two persons involved in the incident. the accused were been identified as jay Kumar and Jaswant. They are brothers.

CCTV cameras installed at his residence have captured the two men slapping his cook and other staff members. They are even seen entering the house along with a cop.
