School security guard arrested for molesting student in Kolkata

A security guard of a private girls' school here was arrested for allegedly molesting a nursery girl student, police said on Friday.

Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) PK Ghosh said that the security guard was arrested on November 7 after the parents of the girl lodged a complaint about the incident that took place a day earlier.

Meanwhile, students of the girls' school boycotted classes today while parents held a demonstration demanding appointment of female security guards.
