Father Felix Raj, principal of St. Xavier's College Kolkata, was summoned by CBI once again in connection with the Rose Valley chit fund scam on Saturday.

This is the second time that Raj has appeared before the officials at the CBI office at CGO Complex in Kolkata.

Two days ago, he was questioned by CBI officials. However, sources in the investigating agency reveal that the officials were not satisfied with Raj's account of Rose Valley Group chairman Gautam Kundu paying a donation of Rs 71 lakh towards his son's admission in the college. According to CBI sources, the amount Kundu paid as a donation was sourced from Rose Valley Group's earnings.

Today, Raj was asked to produce documents which show the transactions carried out by Gautam Kundu towards the college. CBI officials will also examine his role in the huge amount paid to the college as donation, if any.

So far, CBI has arrested two Trinamool Congress MPs— Tapas Pal and Sudip Bandyapadhyay— on charges of money laundering in connection with the Rose Valley chit fund scam.
