A day after a Rohtak court acquitted three youths, who were accused of harassing two women, one of the youths questioned who will bring back the missed opportunity.

The three youths were accused of sexually harassing two sisters from Sonepat in a moving bus two years ago.

The two sisters had thrashed Mohit and his two friends  — Kuldeep and Deepak — aboard a bus and accused them of molestation. Later they were briefly arrested before being let out on bail.

However, the trio had maintained that they didn’t molest the girls. The boys had said that the real altercation was about getting a seat vacated for an elderly woman.

In 2014, when the alleged incident took place, Mohit was looking for a job with Delhi Police while Kuldeep and Deepak were trying for jobs with the Indian Army.

Speaking to Hindustan Times, Kuldeep, who hails from Aasan village said, "After clearing the two stages we were told we could not appear in the written test due to the case. Who will bring back the missed opportunity.”

Another youth Mohit questioned whether they will we get back jobs. “Insaaf to mila, izzat aur naukri kahan se aayegi? (We got justice, but how will we get back our prestige or jobs?),” asks Mohit.

Even though they have been discharged, they cannot apply for a job as they have crossed the eligible age limit of 21.

“People would tease us, call us names, insult our parents, walk straight up to us and ask embarrassing questions,” said Mohit recalling the ordeal.

The case of Rohtak 'bravehearts' took a new turn after another video came to the fore. This video shows individuals who claim to have been victims of these girls' antics before the bus incident.
