According to ANI reports, a Maoist attack in Dulmi village on the border of Ranchi and Khunti districts has resulted in injuries to SSP Prabhat Kumar and two other policemen. A Naxal and a police driver were killed in the resulting operation.

According to ANI reports, a Maoist attack in Dulmi village on the border of Ranchi and Khunti districts has resulted in injuries to SSP Prabhat Kumar and two other policemen. A Naxal and a police driver were killed in the resulting operation.
"We received information of presence of Naxalite area commander Chandan along with 10 others on the Khunti-Ranchi border," said Jharkhand DGP DK Pandey to ANI.
The police operation resulted in the deaths of Chandan and a police driver, while the SSP was injured, added Pandey.
But Pandey confirmed that the SSP Prabhat Kumar was now out of danger.
