Rajasthan: Four killed in trailer-tractor trolley collision

Four people were killed and 15 others injured today when their tractor-trolley collided with a trailer in Bhagsoda police station area of Chittorgarh district, police said.

The deceased were identified as -- Shobha Ram (45), Pawan Meena (20), Puran Meena (33) and Devishankar Meena (30).

The tractor was travelling to Sanwariaji Temple and hailed from Jhalawar district, they said.

Their bodies were handed over to the respective family members after a post mortem. Four of the injured were referred to Chittorgarh while the others have been admitted to a local hospital.

The trailer driver was arrested and booked under section relevant sections of the IPC, police said, adding investigation is underway.
