Project government's pro-poor schemes, Narendra Modi tells NDA MPs

Holding his first big rendezvous with NDA MPs on Diwali Milan on Sunday, prime minister Narendra Modi asked the gathering all gathered MPs and MLAs to project his government's pro-poor schemes among the masses. Apparently preparing the BJP and the NDA for a long haul, Modi told the gathering to think far and think big and above politics to chart a new course for the country. Close to 400 Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha members of NDA joined the PM for the high tea.

Modi talked extensively on the recently launched Swachhta Bharat Abhiyaan and called upon all NDA MPs to connect with people as they undertook efforts for cleanliness in their areas.
