Indian Air Force (IAF) has initiated a court of inquiry against wing commander Thakur, who allegedly demanded a bribe of Rs20,000 to grant a suitable parking slot to French twin-engine fighter aircraft Rafale at last month’s Aero India-2011 in Bangalore.
Thakur, posted in Bangalore as part of IAF’s counter-intelligence wing, was caught red-handed taking the money from a department of defence productions and supplies decoy.
