A plea was on Tuesday filed in the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court seeking a direction to the City Police Commissioner to take action on his compliant against a ruling party AIADMK MLA on a land grabbing allegation.

T Nallusamy (75) from Pazhanganatham in his petition said a joint 'Patta' (title deed) for 1.94 acres stands in his name and four siblings at Madakulam village here.

He said a civil suit was pending before the Madurai District Munsif Court regarding the land. The High Court also had been approached by the legal heirs of his siblings regarding ownership of land and for issuance of separate 'patta' for the property.

Meanwhile, B Sivasubramanian, son of AIADMK MLA A K Bose, obtained power of attorney for the land in a fraudulent manner from the legal heirs of a sibling, executed a sale deed and registered sale of 25 cents of the property in his mother's name, he alleged.

When he questioned the MLA's son and wife, the MLA threatened him with dire consequences and his son threatened to kill him, the petitioner alleged and sought the court's intervention.

He claimed that police had not acted on his complaint.
