Para-athlete Suvarna Raj was allegedly forced to sleep on the floor after she was given an upper berth on Nagpur-Delhi train.

Suvarna Raj, who suffers 90% disability, had requested for a differently abled friendly berth. However, when she boarded the coach, she realised that it was an upper berth.

She had boarded the Nagpur-New Delhi Garib Rath Express at 8:45 pm on Saturday.

"I requested the Train Ticket Examiner (TTE) multiple times for change of berth, but got no response from him," she told CNN-News18.

Suvarna Raj also said that she want to meet Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu and tell him about the problems they have to face while travelling in trains.

She participated in the Asian Para Games in South Korea and won two medals at the Thailand Para Table Tennis Open 2013.
