Pakistani nationals arrested for abducting Indian in Malaysia

Last year in November, a Secunderabad-based businessman was allegedly murdered by a Pakistani national in Brickfields police station, limits of Malaysia.

Three Pakistani nationals have been arrested in Malaysia for abducting an Indian, who was rescued by the Malaysian police. The Indian national, identified as Sanjeev from Madhya Pradesh, was rescued by the Royal Malaysian Police.

"Abducted man Sanjeev has been rescued. The Royal Malaysian Police has arrested three Pakistani abductors in the case. Indian ambassador Mridul (Kumar) and his team deserve praise," the External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj tweeted.

Last year in November, a Secunderabad-based businessman was allegedly murdered by a Pakistani national in Brickfields police station, limits of Malaysia.

The Indian High Commission in Malaysia, in a tweet, said: "Abducted boy Sanjeev got released from the abductors by the Royal Malaysian Police from Johor state on July 28. The Indian High Commission was in constant touch with the police during the operation. Heartiest congratulations to the police authorities for speedy action".

Last year , Secunderabad-based businessman Vasudev Singh Raj Purohit, had gone to Singapore on a holiday on October 28, along with two others, Venkatesh and Srinivas. From there, the trio left for Malaysia on October 31. He was in touch with the accused on Facebook. During investigations, Singapore officials came to know that Vasudev was in touch with one Khan on Facebook, according to his family.

"It turned out that Khan used a fake ID to keep in touch with Vasudev. Khan is Pakistani, as per information given by MEA,'' officials said. Vasudev used to run a gift store called Geetha Enterprises
