Heavy shelling in Rajouri by Pakistan; border areas on high alert

Fresh ceasefire violations by Pakistan were reported in Kathua Sector and KG Sector of Jammu and Kashmir. Indian troops are responding befittingly, reported ANI. 

Heavy shelling in LoC area and some sectors around it was reported.

No casualties to Indian troops till last reports came in, said ANI.

In Handwara district, on Thursday night terrorists hurled grenade at a police post. No casualties have been reported and search operations were underway.

Home Minister Rajnath Singh spoke to BSF DG on heavy shelling in LoC area. Home Minister asked the army to give a befitting response. All border areas on high alert.
