Visibly perturbed by the enthusiasm shown by people of Jammu and Kashmir to participate in elections, militant groups related to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) tried to scuttle the flow by launching a spate of attacks in four cities of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. They killed 11 brave security men. Uri was the worst hit with 7 of our brave jawans becoming shahid.
The attack comes just couple of days before PM's visit to the valley to campaign for the third round of polling. The barbaric attack at the security forces left nation stunned and aghast. Twitterati too raise their voices against the attack. But, as always, multiple voices emerged throwing up different facets about the heinous incident.
Some paid their deep respect towards armed forces for surviving in hostile atmosphere.
None of us will ever know what Armed Forces face in J&K.. Ever thankful, Ever humbled, Ever indebted #KashmirTerror

Yet another terrorist attack in Kashmir. The sacrifices of our army should remind us that there is a war out there; it needs waging peace.

Some outraged about a statement allegedly made by Sitaram Yechury
Sitaram Yechury says terror attacks are going to help BJP,and says timing is suspect because they are happening close to Jammu poll dates.

It is shameful of Sitaram Yechury to politicise terror attacks by saying such attacks help BJP..Is he speaking on behalf of Pakistan?

Lot of people tried to analyse the reason behind sudden spurt of attack from Pakistan.
Spurt in terror attacks in Jammu & Kashmir clearly reflects unease in Pakistan's military establishment after high turnout in polls.

There were lot of voices who vented against the government for their inability in stopping terror attacks in the Valley.
After 16 May remember there will be no Manmohan Singh to blame for all your problems? You will have to live with those you voted for.

The eleven army and policemen died for us, so that we breathe in peace. Least we can do is disallow hate mongers to divide us.
