Recalling the journey of 25 years, Dr Chandra said, “I remember when we celebrated the first anniversary of Zee TV back in 1993. I had only 50 people in those days, and today, in 2017, we have more than 3,000 individuals who are a part of Zee. I believe that human resource is the biggest infrastructure that one has, and that is one of the biggest plus points for our nation.”

He added, “Human resource is the biggest infrastructure of our nation. Indians should recognise their strength to become a superpower, and I want to do the same through my foundation. I want to make development the new truth of the country.”

Punit Goenka, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) said, “Today we have 3,400 people here to celebrate the milestone, which is not any ordinary milestone. But this has happened because of the passion, dedication and extra ordinary steps of you all.”

Goenka added, “To achieve what we are today I want each and every employee to realise their capabilities and abilities. One should realise and value his or her potential and introspect on the power of being together as one family.”

Held at the Dome, National Sports Club Of India in Worli, Mumbai, the anniversary celebrations began with a resounding cheer from Zee employees on achieving the milestone. Videos of memorable moments of Zee TV since 1992, and its plans for expansion in the future, were also played on screens in the auditorium. The audience was also entertained by song and dance performances.
