Noida: Two men attempt to rape visually and hearing impaired woman

A visually and hearing impaired woman has accused two men of attempting to rape her, police said today.

The woman filed an FIR at Jewar police station alleging that the two accused, who are her neighbours, physically assaulted her and tried to rape her this evening when she had gone to fetch water from the hand pump.

The woman's son saw them and raised an alarm, following which a crowd gathered and rescued the woman.

A case of attempt to rape has been lodged against the two accused.
