What is the importance of PM Narendra Modi's visit for Israel?
It is one of the most important meetings to be held in Israel. Narendra Modi is a great friend of Israel and we are very excited about the visit. We are celebrating 25 years of relations between the two countries. We are partnering in new technologies and other areas in which both countries will benefit. PM Modi will have a taste and vision of Israel.

What is the core focus of the visit? Is it only about defence and security?
This visit is not about defence sharing. There is more to it. We would like to open up new avenues. Israel is known for innovation in water treatment and India faces challenges in water and agriculture. We are here to help, not just sell. We want to establish a partnership and look at a joint future.

Do you feel that this visit acknowledges the Indo-Israeli relationship publicly?
Yes, this visit is definitely an important step to acknowledge relations between the two countries publicly.

Is PM Narendra Modi going to meet Moshe, the boy who survived the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai?
Yes. Moshe is a symbol of the challenges that confront India and Israel. Moshe was saved by an Indian. He is an Israeli citizen. He symbolizes the dangers we face. We can face them together.

How can India and Israel fight terrorism?
Other nations in the world do not understand that the problem is Islamic terrorism, but we understand it. India also faces the onslaught of terrorism. Both our countries can work together against extremism.
