Over the next two days, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and many more parts of the country will witness thundershowers accompanied by gusty winds, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said.

There is a high probability that winds will intensify in the next 48 hours in Rajasthan, which may lead to another dust storm. It will affect areas of UP and Rajasthan border, especially Karauli and Dholpur," IMD scientist Himanshu Sharma told PTI.

Weathermen said that there is a fair amount if moisture incursion from the Bay of Bengal and from North India. This will lead to formation of storm clouds and widespread thundershowers across eastern India, Gangetic plains, besides southern and central India.

Districts in coastal Andhra Pradesh are likely to receive heavy rain and then thunderstorms in days ahead.

The regional weather office in Jaipur also issued a warning for duststorm, light rain and thunderstorm for Alwar, Banswara, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Dausa and Bhilwara.
