After making a historic record in the state Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party is trying to further its own record by adding one more seat to its huge kitty. The seat in question here is Churu, where the election is scheduled to take place on 13th December. On Tuesday, CM-designate Vasundhara Raje addressed a rally in support of one of her trusted lieutenants and former public works department (PWD) minister, Rajendra Rathore.

Placing confidence in the former PWD minister, Raje said that people of Rajasthan are the real magicians who showed an unforgettable magic in the Assembly elections. Taking the Congress party head on Raje said, “The development model made under BJP in the last tenure has been ruined by the Congress party in last five years. The foundation for the same will have to be laid again and the structure will have to be erected because development is our forte and our target is to make a developed Rajasthan.”

Talking about the election results Raje said, “Survey after survey claimed BJP will get 90-95, or 105 or 120 seats. But during Suraj Yatra we saw the anger in people’s eyes against Congress.

That was the time we realized that the people want to end Congress party’s rule and wants to bring back BJP.” Raje was at her sarcastic best when said, “We let them win on 21 seats as a “kala teeka” for warding off bad omen.”
