Meet Vishal, the sanskari tiger who would do Alok Nath proud. The 10-year-old tiger is baffling officials with his refusal to engage in sexual activity. Officials at the Alipore zoo in the Indian city of Kolkata say their attempts to mate a young tiger have been unsuccessful with the big cat showing little interest in mating. Vishal, the 10-year-old tiger rejected the advances of tigress Rupa, who lives in the adjoining enclosure, according to the BBC. Experts blame his "shyness" due to years of captivity. Dayanarayan Banerjee, a retired senior veterinary officer at the zoo told BBC, they have been trying to mate Vishal for the last six months and to improve his health they de-wormed him. They even resorted to giving him libido enhancers, including Vitamin A, D and E. But they still find him too shy. On the other, Rupa seems very interested and willing to mate with Vishal, Banerjee revealed to BBC. However, Vishal runs away the minute he sees her and has left everyone zoo baffled and confused.
