MCAER PG Admission 2018: Results for second allotment postponed to August 20, Check new schedule

Maharashtra Council Of Agricultural Education And Research, Pune (MCAER) has postponed the declaration of the second allotment result for PG counselling for agriculture colleges and universities in Maharashtra. Earlier, the results were expected to be declared on August 28 but were postponed to be released on August 29. However, the Council has now released a revised schedule and the second allotment result will be declared on August 30th. 

After the declaration of the second allotment result, the candidates who qualify and their names appear in the list will have to report to the allotted institute latest by September 1. The details of the vacant seats shall be released on September 2. The vacant seats will be filled via spot admission which will be conducted on September 3rd and 4th. The academic session that was supposed to begin on September 1st has now been pushed to September 3. 

How to check MCAER PG admission second allotment list

1. Log on to the MCAER PG admission’s official website maha-agriadmission.in.

2. Click on the ‘PG Round 2 Allocation List 2018-19’ link.

3. The document will contain the names and allotted institution details of all the candidates in the first allotment.

ABOUT MCAER PG: 

Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research (MCAER), Pune conducts MCAER CET exam in order to shortlist candidates for admission in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered in State Agricultural Universities in Maharashtra.

The official website of MCAER informs that on the basis of MCAER CET candidates are offered admission in “degree courses in constituent/affiliated Colleges of Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri, Dr Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola, Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani and Dr Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli in the Maharashtra State”. View the list of colleges accepting MCAER CET scores for admission.

Candidates are further informed that for postgraduate course admissions, the final merit list for admission in State Agricultural Universities in Maharashtra will be prepared by allotting 70% weightage to marks secured by the candidates in MCAER CET exam and the remaining 30% weightage is given to the student’s CGPA score. It is on this basis that aspirants are offered admission in postgraduate programmes offered at State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) in Maharashtra.
