Major drug bust at Ludhiana as DRI seizes 40 kilograms of Heroin

The menace of drug peddling has reached gigantic proportions in Indian state of Punjab. As reports of youths being drawn into drug menace spread thereby alerting the Centre and Shiromani Akali Dal to curb the problem, huge number of drug busts have been reported. 

Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) has seized about 40 Kilograms of Heroin from Ludiana in Punab. Two individuals have been arrested including the driver of the truck. The recovery took place near Ferozepur road at the DRI Naka in Punjab.
