Farmers in Maharashtra have decided to continue with their decision of going on strike from June 1 after their three-hour discussions with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis could not lead to any agreement on their long-standing demand for a loan waiver.
Jayaji Suryavanshi, Vijay Kakade-Patil, Dhananjay Dhorde and other farmer leaders met Fadnavis at his official residence on Tuesday night.
