The Union Minister missed an important appointment on Tuesday after Air India's flight was delayed.

Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister M Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday expressed his frustration over missing an important appointment after his Air India flight was delayed.
I had to travel to Hyderabad by Air India AI544 which is to depart at 1315 Hrs... was told on time.. reached airport by 1230 Hrs. 1/

In it's statement, Air India said that the flight was delayed as the pilot was stuck in traffic jam
"We deeply regret the inconvenience caused due to flight delay. The pilot was stuck in traffic jam, enquiry has been ordered."
Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapthi Raju responded to Venkaiah Naidu's tweet by saying,
Service disruptions are unacceptable and have to be eliminated. Have asked AI to enquire and take action on priority https://t.co/vwVwfPMKVf
