Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a rally in Bhuj, reacted to the personal attacks made against him and his leadership. Modi said that all the mud-slinging would eventually help the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP). "I am grateful for all the 'kichad' being thrown at me, after all, a lotus blooms only in 'kichad' so, I don't mind if more is thrown at me,"he said at Bhuj rally.
PM Narendra Modi was apparently hinting at 'chaiwala' meme posted on the official Twitter handle of the Youth Congress online magazine Yuva Desh.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Bhuj rally is the first of his four big rallies in poll-bound Gujarat today.

BJP kickstarted the election campaign in Gujarat on Sunday with "Mann Ki Baat, Chai Ke Saath"--an event where party leaders of the saffron party listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address while sipping tea at all the polling booths across the state. As the battle for Gujarat Assembly elections 2017 intensifies, PM Modi on Monday reached Gujarat on a 3-day visit where he will address at least eight rallies in different parts of Kuch, Saurashtra and south Gujarat.
