Let's support chor Congress to defeat mahachor BJP, says patidar leader Hardik Patel

In what can be seen as the clearest indication of patidar leader Hardik Patel coming together with the Congress for upcoming Gujarat elections, the young leader was quoted as saying that he would back Congress to defeat the BJP.

However, it wasn't just a plain statement. At a rally north Gujarat's Mandal, Patel reportedly said that to defeat 'mahachor' BJP, he may have to support 'chor' Congress.

Though he admitted that he was at the same  Ahmedabad hotel where Rahul Gandhi was staying, but he denied that he met the Congress vice president.

The 24-year-old who is still not eligible to contest elections is being seen as a popular young leader after his successful patidar stir that brought Gujarat to its knees.

The speculation about Hardik's secret meeting with Rahul started doing the rounds after the Patel community leader claimed that he would not be able to meet the Gandhi scion on Monday morning as he would be at a public function in Mandal town. He reportedly showed up at the hotel around 4 pm yesterday and later went to Mandal around 7.30 pm to address a meeting there.
