Kolkata: Special Metro services on Durga Puja days

Metro Railway Kolkata has arranged special Metro services this year during Durga Puja days with a total of 544 services on the festive days from October one for the convenience of revellers through day and night.

Total 544 services will be available in between Kavi Subhash - Dum Dum from Saptami, October one to Navami and Dashami on October three, Metro Railway sources said in Kolkata on Tuesday.

On these days, first Metro service would start at 1.40 pm and the last Metro at 4.00 am from the terminating stations.

While on October one, a total 160 Metros would run between Kavi Subhash and Dum Dum, on October two and three 192 Metros would run between the two stations, the sources said.

On the day of Saptami, frequency of services would be 8 minutes, 10 minutes and 15 minutes. On the next two days, frequency of services would be 7 minutes minimum and 15 minutes maximum, the sources added.
