Accuses Congress of betrayal, asks supporters if he should contest polls; decision today.

Quick to take inspiration from Arvind Kejriwal, maverick Meena leader Kirori Lal Meena has sought a referendum from his supporters on Facebook, asking them if he should fight the Lok Sabha elections or not.

Seeking public opinion he has written on his FB page, “Kripya sujhav deven, Jaisa ki aap sabhi jaantey hain, Congress nein hamarey saath bada dhoka kiya hai, athah iss party ko sabak sikhaney key liyey aagey ki ranneeti kya ho,” reads the Facebook page of his NPP party.

Meena is miffed by the way he has been snubbed by the Congress leadership and this is proving to be a major embarrassment for him. The question posed by Meena has therefore got instant responses from his supporters who are pouring in with all sorts of suggestions.

“Dr saab aap Dausa se or Jagmohan ji ko Sawai Madopur se jarur jeet milegi,” says a response on the FB page.

Another supporter seems to be clearer in giving his feedback to the Meena leader, “Kirodi ji ko election ladna chahiye,” says the comment.

His FB page is getting various suggestions that range from people asking Kiroi to fight it all alone, some say he should join the BSP while a few have also suggested that he should support Narendra Modi.

However, he has also been receiving some sharp comments for his style of politics with people asking him to leave caste based politics. “Vote for Modi and leave caste politics,” says a Facebook post in a reply to the question posed by Meena.

A few have been very sharp in their comments by saying that it is time Meena took retirement from politics. “Boria bistar bandh kar ghar baitho,” says a post, which is sure to give Kirori some food for thought.

Meena is, however, seriously considering all these suggestions and has called a meeting of his supporters on Wednesday in this regard.

“Based on the suggestions Dr Meena will decide his next strategy,” said Satish Meena, Kirori’s media manager.
