After toppers scam and open cheating disaster, Bihar is in news again, all for wrong reasons.

This time a question paper for class VII exam by the Bihar Education Board stated that Kashmir is not part of India

According to a Times of India report, the question paper asked students to name what the people of five countries — China, Nepal, England, Kashmir and India —are called.

“I was on leave and have just resumed work. I will have to look into the matter,” Vaishali district education officer Sangeeta Sinha was quoted as saying by the TOI report.

The examination that began on October 5 will end today. The Bihar Education Project Council conducts the exams and the question paper gaffe was highlighted by a student from Vaishali district.

BEPC official Prem Chandra knew about the gaffe. "It's very embarrassing, I admit," he said and called it a printing error.

Earlier this year, a 'fake topper' Ruby Rai was arrested by the SIT team in Patna. Rai had claimed that she had asked her father to ensure she just passes in the exams, but he managed to make her the topper in the state.

Rai came to limelight after a video went viral in which she described political science as "prodigal science" and stated that political science, a subject she virtually aced, teaches cooking.
