Fresh troubles for Kafeel Khan's family.
Seems like trouble continues to hound Dr Kafeel Khan and his family. Now his elder brother has been booked for using a fake driving license while opening an account in Union Bank. Dr Kafeel Khan who shot to limelight during the infamous children death episode in BRD hospital, Gorakhpur has accused of political vendetta against him. He is currently out on bail in connection with the children death incident. His younger brother had a narrow brush with death, after he was shot at in Gorakhpur.
Now Kafeel Khan's older brother Adeel Khan has landed in trouble in this forgery case. Complaint has been filed against Adeel and two others, reports News 18. It is an incident from 9 years back. The allegation is that Adeel opened a bank account using fake documents way back in 2009. Adeel has said police is trying to frame his family in various pretext.
Adeel Khan earlier had met Yogi Adityanath and appealed to him to take action against those who attacked his younger brother Kashif Khan,
In an application addressed to the chief minister, Adeel wrote, "A CBI probe will help in delivery of justice." A few days ago, Adeel had written a letter to President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, demanding that an honest police officer be asked to look into the case.
"My brother (Kashif Khan) was shot at on June 10 and since then, the police have not been able to get any clue about the miscreants," the letter read. He had alleged that the case was related to BJP MP Kamlesh Paswan and the police were not able to take action against him and his accomplices.
At a press conference in Lucknow on June 17, Dr Kafeel Khan had expressed suspicion that Paswan was behind the attack on his brother, which was termed "baseless" by the Bansgaon MP. Kashif Jameel was shot at by two unidentified motorcycle-borne assailants on June 10 near Gorakhnath temple in Gorakhpur. He was operated in a private hospital to remove a bullet stuck in his neck. Jameel was rushed to KGMC Lucknow the next day when his condition deteriorated after he developed serious infections. He was later acquitted from the hospital.
